Outdoor Pavilion
Like the outdoor gazebo, the pavilion is a popular spot for residents and visitors.
The pavilion is also used for summer picnics, banquets and other outdoor activities.

Facility
- Beautifully decorated rooms include electric beds in all rooms, emergency call system, spacious closets and bathrooms.
- Televisions are available in all rooms and each room is equipped with a telephone.
- Additional services provided daily include: Housekeeping, Maintenance and Laundry services.
- Outdoor patio/gazebo area
Medical
- A Medical Director and local physicians are available to provide for your healthcare needs.
- Care is provided by registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and nursing assistants,
24-hours a day, 7 days a week. - Some of the medical services provided by staff include:
Wound Care - I.V. Therapy
- Pain Management
- Medication Administration
- Hospice Care
- Assistance with Activities of Daily Living
- Postoperative Care
- Available Services on-site include: Podiatry Services, Dental Services and Psychiatric Services.
- A registered dietician is available to accommodate any special diet needs and to provide physician-ordered therapeutic diets. Residents are served three well-balanced, nutritious meals with many menu options and snacks are always available.
- Short-Term Care/Respite Services
Social
- A variety of social events and recreational activities are offered, including community outings, 7- days a week and evenings. Staff provide a variety of stimulating individual and group programs. Some of these programs include: Bingo, Gardening, Cards, Crafts, Cooking Therapy, Bible Study, Birthday/Anniversary parties, Holiday-themed events and much more.
- Barber and Beautician Services are available on-site.
- Social Services are available to help residents and family members maintain or improve their mental, spiritual and psychosocial well-being. The department coordinates discharge planning and works closely with the consulting psychiatrist to achieve the highest quality of life for each resident.
- Worship Services are held on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Smoking by residents is not permitted on Elk Haven property. Strict rules apply for smoking by others.
