Personal Care was developed as an alternative to traditional retirement communities and other traditional adult residential options. The idea was to establish a community of mature adults who are able to enjoy life to its fullest potential.
The emphasis of Personal Care is to provide each resident help with their daily routine, such as dressing, bathing, grooming, dining and remembering to take medications. While independence is never hindered, the program enhances self-esteem and encourages a fulfilling lifestyle.
Seniors no longer need to be concerned with the common day-to-day duties they performed for decades and may now relax and enjoy something very special. Peace of mind.
Personal Care Services At Silver Creek Terrace
Silver Creek Terrace, our personal care facility, offers an array of amenities to ensure a gracious and inviting living environment.
The care our staff provides is only a means of assistance. Specific services include personal grooming and daily care, assistance with medications, health monitoring and advisory, and periodic blood pressure testing.
Silver Creek promotes independence and individuality. Every suite has a unique character and feel with its own entrance and can be individually furnished and decorated by the residents.
Full-course Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Service. - Restaurant-Style Dining with special diets available. Silver Creek always welcomes guest reservations and the opportunity to host resident’s private events.
- Transportation is available in the facility van for shopping, banking, sporting and special events. Residents also use the local A.T.A. transportation system.
- For your safety ~ Emergency call system in every room, sprinkler system throughout the building, illuminated hallways, smoke alarms in every room and 24-hour personal care staff.
- Planned Social, Educational and Recreational Activities that include: Arts and Crafts, Bingo, Wellness Programs, Community Outings, Exercise Programs, Worship Services, Movies, Birthday/Holiday Parties and much more.
Individually controlled Heat and Air Conditioning in all rooms, wall-to-wall carpeting, spacious closets and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. - A kitchenette is available for each resident’s personal use.
- Outdoor patio area.
- Additional services provided daily include: Housekeeping, Maintenance and Laundry Services.
